The Thyssen Museum also gives you the opportunity of visiting it for free on Mondays from 12am to 4pm. To enjoy this you will have to reserve.
The House Museum of the 19th Century Spanish painter, Sorolla, is free on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 8pm although the entry the rest of the days is really affordable.
Another free museum is the Contemporary Art Museum that can be visited at a free cost from Tuesday to Saturdays from 10am to 2pm and from 5:30pm to 9pm.
The San Fernando Academy of Fine Arts is free on non-festive Wednesdays and on the 18th of May, October 12th and December 6th. Other museums in Madrid like the ICO and the ABC Museum of Drawings and Illustrations are free all year around.
